The election for the Speaker of the House of Representatives is scheduled to be held on Chaitra 22. An all-party meeting held at the Federal Parliament Secretariat in Singha Durbar on Wednesday decided to hold the election for the Speaker on Chaitra 22, informed RSVP MP Samiksha Baskota.
Wednesday's all-party meeting was chaired by senior member Arjun Narsingh KC. The all-party meeting was attended by 5 people from RSVP, 2/2 from Congress and UML, and one person each from NCP, RPP and Shram Sanskriti.
DP Aryal, Kabindra Burlakoti, Bipin Acharya, Samiksha Baskota and Prakash Chandra Pariyar from RSVP were present at the meeting. Similarly, Mohan Acharya and Urmila Thapaliya from Congress, Ganesh Singh Thagunna and Guru Prasad Burlakoti from UML were present.
Barshaman Pun from the NCP, Khusbu Oli from the RPP and Aren Rai from the Labor Culture Party participated.
