Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been elected as the leader of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) parliamentary party. The CPN parliamentary party meeting held today elected him as the party leader.
‘The parliamentary party meeting has elected the coordinator as the leader,’ said Dahal’s personal secretary Govinda Acharya.
In the meeting, Dahal said that the CPN will play the role of a responsible opposition in parliament. The CPN has won 8 seats in the direct and 9 seats in the proportional representation in the House of Representatives elections.
