Kathmandu, UML has called a secretariat meeting to discuss the incident of arrest of Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
UML Secretary Mahesh Basnet has informed that the secretariat meeting will plan a protest program against Oli's arrest.
UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has called the secretariat meeting. Basnet has also called for participation in the protest against the arrest, calling it political prejudice.
'Let's participate in the protest starting today on behalf of UML to save the country from the politics of revenge and protect democratic values. Detailed information about the program will be given after the secretariat meeting,' Basnet wrote on Facebook, 'The incident of arrest of former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has created a situation where conflict is increasing in the country. Such activities reflect political revenge and prejudice.'
