The Nepali Communist Party has made its views public regarding the arrest of UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and Congress leader Ramesh Lekhak.

The NCP has said that the investigation should be carried out by maintaining the rule of law, legal process and impartiality. Ganeshman Pun, Chief Secretary of the Maoist Central Office, said this in a statement on Saturday. He said - 'Our party has drawn the serious attention of the Nepali Communist Party to the steps taken by the government in the implementation of the report of the Karki Commission formed by the first meeting of the Council of Ministers to investigate the incidents of Bhadra 23 and 24. In this regard, our party urges the government not to violate the rule of law, legal process and impartiality while taking any steps and not to act in a way that is politically biased and creates conflict.'
