The government arrested Oli and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak from their residences on Saturday morning to implement the recommendations made by the commission headed by Gauri Bahadur Karki to investigate the incidents of Bhadra 23 and 24. The commission had recommended that they be investigated for criminal offenses, saying that their negligent and reckless activities and behavior had caused human damage.
