Amresh Singh's name has been removed from the list of ministers in the Balendra Shah-led cabinet at the last minute.
He was set to be given the Ministry of Industry. However, in the end, Balendra himself has kept this ministry.
Singh's personal secretary Ranjit Jha told Kantipur, 'He has said that he will serve the country as an MP.'
He was elected as an MP from the National Independent Party (NISP), defeating Congress President Gagan Thapa.
