 Balendra Shah has taken the oath of office and secrecy as Prime Minister. Along with him, his cabinet members have also taken the oath of office and secrecy. 

President Ram Chandra Poudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to Shah and his cabinet members at a special oath-taking ceremony organized at Sheetal Niwas.

Sudhan Gurung has been given the responsibility of the Home Ministry, which many RSP leaders have claimed. Gurung, who came to the fore during the Gen-G movement, was elected from Gorkha-1. 

Similarly, RSP Vice President Swarnim Wagle is set to become the Finance Minister. He is an expert in financial matters. He has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives twice from Tanahun. 

This is how the Balendra government came to be Similarly, Shishir Khanal is set to become the Foreign Minister. He is the head of the RSP's Foreign Affairs Department. 

Khadak Raj Poudel (Ganesh) is set to become the Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. He is also a writer and was elected from Kaski. Similarly, Deepak Sah from Mahottari is set to become the Minister for Labor.

Sasmit Pokharel, elected from Kathmandu-5, has become the Minister of Education and Technology. Bikram Timilsina has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Information, Communications and Technology. 

Pratibha Rawal has become the Minister of General Administration. She has a journalism background. She was made an MP by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Rawal is also the co-spokesperson of the RSS. 

Biraj Bhakta Shrestha has been given the responsibility of the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation. Elected from Kathmandu, he was also the leader of the RSS parliamentary party before that. 

Geeta Chaudhary will be given the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture, Cooperatives and Forests. She was elected on the RSS's proportional list and was given the responsibility of the Ministry of Agriculture in the distribution of ministries. She is also an advocate and joined the RSS just a few days before the last Falgun election. 

Sobita Gautam will be given the responsibility of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. She is also a legal expert and advocate.

Gautam, who was elected from Kathmandu-2 in the 2079 elections, had contested the elections from Chitwan-3 this time. She defeated former Bharatpur mayor Renu Dahal by a huge margin and won the election. 

Sita Badi has become the Minister for Women and Children.  Sunil Lamsal has become the Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development.
