UML MP Kshitij Thebe, elected from Taplejung, has decided to donate his first month's salary to a school. Thebe announced that he would donate it to the Agepa Basic School in Angkhop, Sidingwa Rural Municipality-3, immediately after taking oath as a member of the House of Representatives.

This is not the school he studied at or the one near his home. 'I had visited there during the election campaign,' Thebe said, 'The number of students was very high and the building was in a dilapidated condition.' He said that he would also take the initiative in other bodies for land acquisition and building construction.
