Nepali Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that the Nepali Congress will take the initiative to connect people of Nepali origin living around the world with Nepal.
Meeting a delegation including Association of Nepali Origin (ANO) President Dilli Adhikari, Vice President Senior Advocate Sushil Kumar Panta, General Secretary Chudamani Bhattarai and Board of Trustees Omraj Gurung on Thursday evening, President Thapa also informed that the Nepali Congress has made efforts to include people of Nepali origin in its election manifesto.
ANCO President Adhikari drew the attention of the Congress by saying that for the development and prosperity of Nepal, investment should be attracted from people of its own origin and for this, Nepal should formulate Nepali origin-friendly laws.
He also informed that the ANO is active in the campaign to connect Nepalis around the world through Nepali culture. ANO Vice President Senior Advocate Sushil Kumar Panta was of the opinion that the Nepali government and parties should bring appropriate programs to connect Nepali hearts around the world through Nepaliness. During the
program, ANO also drew attention to the fact that the Nepali Congress, as the opposition party, should take initiatives for the safety and rescue of people living in various parts of the world due to ongoing wars.
