The Congress has decided to revise the proposed schedule of the party's 15th general convention and hold it from September 16 to 19. President Gagan Thapa had proposed a schedule of September 24 to 26 in Tuesday's meeting. According to spokesperson Devraj Chalise, it was moved to September because it was the rainy season at that time. Along with the date of the central general convention, the schedule of lower-level conventions has also been revised. The period for distributing active membership, updating and sending the final list to the regions and districts will be from Chaitra 21 to Jestha 15. The membership list will be sent to the center by mid-Jestha and the center will conduct the necessary investigation and finalize the membership by Asad 15 and submit it to the Election Commission by mid-Jestha.

After submitting the membership, i.e. the voters' list, to the Election Commission, time has been given to hold a convention of the public relations committee based abroad by mid-Shrawan. The village and town ward conventions that will begin after that will be held on the same day, Bhadra 2, in 6,743 villages.

The village-municipal convention will be held on Bhadra 7, the provincial assembly regional convention on Bhadra 17, the regional convention of the House of Representatives (including the convention of the district with a single constituency) on Bhadra 24, the district convention on Asoj 2 and 3, and the provincial convention on Asoj 7 and 8. After that, the central convention will be held on Asoj 16-19. The meeting has approved the schedule.
