Rastriya Swatantra Party President Ravi Lamichhane has said that the people have historically trusted his party. Lamichhane made the statement while addressing the closing ceremony of a two-day orientation program for Rashtriya Swatantra Party lawmakers on Wednesday. 'The Nepali people have trusted us this time, something they have never trusted anyone in history,' he said. Lamichhane said that lawmakers should realize that responsibility. Lamichhane said that the country and the people wanted change and no one could stop it.
'At the beginning of the party's establishment, the number of people who came to listen to us was not even this much, but today we have so many lawmakers,' Lamichhane said, 'The country has sought change. When the country and the people want change, no power in the world can stop it.'
Lamichhane said that the country needs the right leadership and direction.
