Prime Minister Sushila Karki has thanked the UML for helping to conduct the elections peacefully and successfully. Prime Minister Karki thanked the UML leadership in Baluwatar. Accepting the Prime Minister's invitation, UML leaders Ishwor Pokharel, Pradeep Gyawali and Mahesh Bartaula reached Baluwatar on Tuesday.

'The only option to find a peaceful solution to this difficult situation was the election. I would like to thank you very much for the supportive role you played and for your active participation in the elections, remembering your responsibility towards the nation,' she said.

She also advised people not to be distracted by a single mandate, saying that winning and losing in elections is natural. 'A single public vote does not determine the status of parties forever. In India, we have also seen the ups and downs that their parties faced during the times of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Indira Gandhi. Politics is a continuous campaign, so keep carrying the issues of the country and the people.'

UML leaders also congratulated Prime Minister Karki and the government led by him for conducting the election peacefully, satisfying all parties. They thanked the country for providing leadership in difficult times and providing an acceptable, peaceful and democratic outcome. They also praised the government for the administration's role in this year's election, saying that it was impartial. They also shared their experience that the election campaigns were healthier, peaceful and less expensive than in the past.

Earlier, Prime Minister Karki had reached the residence in Gundu to meet UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, who is mourning his father, on Sunday.
