”Looking at the war process over the past two weeks, it seems that their assessment was wrong,” he said. ”Iran's internal military forces have been preparing for a long time, so they have been able to counterattack.”

Former Nepali Ambassador to Qatar Dr. Naradnath Bhardwaj has said that the attack on Iran by Israel and the US risks not only triggering a regional war but also a global conflict.
He warned that if the current tension is not resolved soon, the involvement of powerful nations could increase, leading to a world war.
In an interview with Kantipur, he said, ‘The attack on Iran by Israel and the US has a deep meaning. If the current tension is not resolved soon, there is no way that a world war cannot break out with the involvement of more major powers.’ According to him, Israel and the US had predicted that they would be able to defeat Iran by using excessive force in a short period of time. However, looking at the state of the war so far, he said that this assessment has not been proven correct.
‘Looking at the war process over the past two weeks, it seems that their assessment was wrong,’ he said, ‘Iran’s internal military forces have been preparing for a long time, so they have been able to counterattack.’
According to Bhardwaj, the war has reached a more serious stage as Iran has responded by targeting US military bases, spy agencies and economic centers in West Asia.
He claimed that the US has adopted a ‘Shock and Awe’ strategy against Iran. ‘It seems that the US has adopted a policy of using excessive force to destroy the opponent in a short time, which is called the ‘Shock and Awe’ strategy,’ he said. ‘Such a strategy has also been used by the US in Syria, Libya and Iraq.’
Noting that Iran’s three major nuclear facilities were targeted during the attack last June, he said that the US has been expressing concerns about Iran’s nuclear program.
‘The US understanding is that Iran is increasing uranium enrichment and is reaching a point where it can make a nuclear bomb,’ he said. ‘If Iran becomes a nuclear-armed country, the balance of power in the Middle East could be disrupted.’
According to him, the US has been supporting Israel as a major ally in the Middle East. ‘For Israel, this war against Iran looks like the US is fighting,’ he said. ‘This is also the analysis of many strategic scholars in the world.’
