Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) President Rabi Lamichhane has said that the party will not get the post of MP by going door to door. In a secretariat meeting on Sunday, President Lamichhane said that the party has made a good decision on everyone's issues.
According to a member who attended the meeting, Ravi had said in the meeting that the party would not do injustice to anyone. 'Please tell the MPs not to go door to door for posts, we have come to oppose that practice,' he had said in the meeting.
In addition, the secretariat has sent the names of 48 women and 9 men to the Election Commission proposing them for the posts of proportional representation MPs. He also urged that the names not be made public until the commission verifies them. He said, 'The list of proportional representation should not be made public. It will be made public only after the Election Commission verifies them. Once someone's name is made public, it will be difficult for the person concerned if he does not become an MP in the commission.'
Ravi had also informed that he is talking to senior leader Balendra Shah for all the work. 'I and the senior leader are in consultation. We are in consultation for all the work,' he said. He further said, 'Please tell the MPs not to do media trials about the posts. No one gets anything by doing media trials. Please tell someone not to apply for the position and not to go home.'
