With more than half of the proportional representation votes counted, only these six parties are in a position to cross the 'threshold'

While the counting of votes for the direct route of the House of Representatives is still ongoing in only 3 constituencies, the proportional route is still ongoing. 

However, more than half of the votes have been counted. According to the latest details of the Election Commission, 76 lakh 29 thousand 648 votes have been counted. 

In the ongoing vote counting, the National Independent Party (NISP) has received 36 lakh 90 thousand 363 votes. This is 48.48 in percentage. 

Similarly, the Nepali Congress is in second place. The Congress has received 12 lakh 46 thousand 462 votes, which is 16.35 percent.

The CPN-UML, which is in third place, has received 10 lakh 56 thousand 115 votes. This is 13.84 percent.

Similarly, the Nepali Communist Party has received 5 lakh 43 thousand 304 votes. This is 7.11 percent in percentage.

The RPP, which is in fifth place, has received 2 lakh 60 thousand 24 votes. This is 3.41 percent.

And, the Shram Sanskriti Party is in sixth place. This party has received 247,856 votes. This is 3.25 percent.

Only those who cross the 3 percent ‘threshold’ (vote limit) in proportional representation get seats. 

The distribution of 110 seats in the proportional representation is calculated based on vote percentage.   *Corrected
