In the proportional representation, the National Independent Party has secured the highest number of votes in Palpa. When the results were announced on Monday morning, the Rashtriya Swatantra Party secured the first place by securing 50,452 votes.
After the proportional representation counting of the two constituencies was completed, the CPN-UML came second with 24,966 votes, and the Nepali Congress came third with 24,066 votes. The Nepali Communist Party came fourth with 5,286 votes, and the Shram Sanskriti Party got 3,558 votes. While the National Republic Organization got 1,054 votes, the RPP got 1,399 votes, and the Rajmo got 523 votes.
From here, Sandeep Rana of the Nepali Congress won directly in Constituency No. 1 with 18,336 votes. His nearest competitor, Narayan Prasad Acharya of the CPN-UML, got 16,819 votes. Similarly, Bimal Pant of the National Independent Party (NISP) got 14,333 votes in the third place. In the proportional representation, 19,738 votes were cast for the NISP in Constituency No. 1. The Congress, which came first in the direct representation, got 13,171 votes in the proportional representation. As the RSS increased its vote share, the Congress, UML, and NCP all shrank. UML was the largest party in the district in the 2079 election. At that time, UML secured 50,123 votes and became the first party in proportional representation. In 2079, the NCP-UML won both constituencies directly.
The Congress got 37,979 votes, the National Independent Party got 7,813 votes, the CPN-Maoist Center got 5,791 votes, the Mongol National Organization got 3,198 votes, the CPN-U got 1,699 votes, the National Prajatantra Party got 1,542 votes, the Rastriya Janamorcha got 632 votes, and the Rastriya Janmukti Party got 540 votes, according to the District Election Officer's Office. There are a total of 27,436 voters in Palpa. There are 98,393 voters in Constituency No. 1 and 19,533 voters in Constituency No. 2. There were 1,923 provisional voters in the proportional representation system.
