Buddhi Prasad Pant, a candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP), has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Parsa Constituency No. 1. According to Election Officer Gayatri Prasad Regmi, Pant has received 27,274 votes. His nearest competitor, Pradeep Yadav of the CPN-UML, has received 13,30 votes. Anil Kumar Ruganta of the Nepali Congress has received 11,885 votes.
Pant has defeated his competitor by a significant margin to become a member of the House of Representatives from Parsa-1. The District Election Office, Parsa, has announced his election.
