Deepak Raj Bohara of the National Independent Party has won Kanchanpur-2 with 33,952 votes in the House of Representatives election. His nearest rival, Narayan Prakash Saud of the Nepali Congress, has received 10,827 votes. Bachan Bahadur Singh of the UML has received 6,418 votes and Madhav Prasad Pant of the Nepali Communist Party has received 6,337 votes. Similarly, Tirtharaj Chataut of the National Democracy Party has received 1,993 votes. Premwati Rana of the Civil Liberation Party has received 560 votes. Dharmananda Joshi of the Progressive Democratic Party has received 195 votes, Ram Bahadur Karki of the Rastriya Janamorcha has received 145 votes, Lokendra Bahadur BK of the CPN-Maoist has received 143 votes and Ram Chandra Bhatta of the Janmat Party has received 125 votes.

Similarly, Yogendra Bahadur Saud of Ujjaya Nepal Party received 93 votes, independent candidate Birendra Rana received 81 votes, Sitaram Rana of Nepal Workers and Peasants Party received 72 votes, independent candidate Harish Bahadur Bhatta received 44 votes, Jaggu Chaudhary of Aam Janata Party received 37 votes, Khadak Tamrakar of Samyukta Nagarik Party received 32 votes, independent candidate Bhanubhakta Bohara received 26 votes, independent candidate Siddha Raj Joshi received 19 votes and Tej Bahadur Wadwal of Miteri Party Nepal received 18 votes.

In Constituency No. 2, which has a total of 1 lakh 9 thousand 574 voters, 64 thousand 881 votes were cast. Of which 36 thousand 386 were women and 28 thousand 495 were men. The voter turnout here was 59.21 percent.
