Nitima Bhandari Karki, a candidate of the National Independent Party, has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Sarlahi Constituency No. 1.

According to the final results, Karki has won by securing 44,181 votes. Her nearest competitor, Shambhulal Shrestha of the Nepali Congress, has secured 7,871 votes. Manoj Kumar Devkota of the UML has secured 6,111 votes.

Karki has won the House of Representatives by a wide margin of 36,310 votes over her rival, according to the Office of the Constituency 1 Returning Officer.
