The counting of votes has been delayed as the ballot boxes from the Thudam polling station in Bhotkhola Rural Municipality in Sankhuwasabha could not be brought to the district headquarters due to the weather. Only 13 votes were cast in that center. There were 63 voters there.
The army helicopter tried to bring the ballot boxes from three polling stations in Bhotkhola and two in Silichong Rural Municipality, which are considered geographically remote, but it could not be brought due to rain in Thudam. The army helicopter could not land at the polling station, according to the Indradal Gulma in Khandbari.
The ballot boxes from Ridak and Kimathanka in Bhotkhola Rural Municipality and Kampek and Gauthala in Silichong Rural Municipality-5 have been brought to the counting center, DSP Kumar Prasad Mainali said. The ballot boxes have been brought to the counting center from the footpaths of a total of 124 polling stations. There are 165 polling stations in the district, including one temporary one.
