Bina Gurung of the National Independent Party has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Kaski Constituency No. 3. She was elected by a wide margin, defeating her nearest rival Manoj Gurung of the Nepali Congress. 

Out of 107,560 voters, 65,407 (60.81 percent) votes were cast in Kaski 3. Bina Gurung received 37,750 votes, while Manoj Gurung of the Nepali Congress received 12,780 votes. Damodar Poudel Bairagi of the UML, who was elected in the constituency in 2079, came third this time. He received only 7,906 votes. 

The elected Gurung lives in Pokhara and is associated with various social organizations and businesses. She is also the Gandaki Province Treasurer of the Nepali Congress. She was the only female candidate from the Nepali Congress in Gandaki. 

30,909 men, 34,497 women and 1 other voter voted in Kaski 3. 2,758 votes were invalidated. Candidates from 16 parties were in the fray here.
