In Kanchanpur-2, Deepak Raj Bohara, the candidate of the National Independent Party (NISP), is increasing his lead.

He is being followed by former Foreign Minister Narayan Prakash Saud. According to the results released by the Election Commission, Bohara got 9,890 votes while Saud got only 2,915 votes.

Bohara is ahead by 6,975 votes over Saud. In third place in this constituency is Madhav Prasad Pant of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP). Pant has so far received only 1,958 votes.
