National Independent Party candidate Ganesh Parajuli has won in Kathmandu constituency number 7. According to the Election Commission, he received 27,805 votes. This is Parajuli's second victory in the constituency. He was elected in the 2079 election as well. His rival Pramodahari Guragain of the Nepali Congress got 3,982 votes. Basanta Prasad Manandhar of the Nepal Communist Party got 3,667 votes. Prakash Shrestha of UML came fourth with 3,544 votes.
Bimala Tamang of the Ujjaya Party got 1,383 votes and Lal Kumar Tamang of the RPP got 1,381 votes.
