The counting of votes in Humla is set to begin at 7:45 am today. Chief Electoral Officer Neelkantha Baral said that the all-party meeting has ended and it has been decided to start the counting of votes today.

'The ballot boxes have been collected, we have decided to start the counting of votes from 7:45 am today after holding an all-party meeting,' he said.

65.36 percent voter turnout was recorded in the House of Representatives elections held in the Himalayan district of Humla. The Chief Electoral Officer's office has stated that 22,467 votes were cast in Humla out of a total of 34,372 voters.
