The all-party meeting held on Friday has decided to count the votes from 7 pm after the ballot boxes from 118 polling stations and one temporary polling station in Bajura arrived in the district.

Although the ballot boxes were brought to four polling stations in Bajura, which is a Himalayan district, by Nepal Army helicopters, the ballot boxes from the Thulakot Basic School Kot polling station in Himali Rural Municipality-12 reached the counting site only at 3 pm, so the counting will begin from 7 pm, informed Chief Electoral Officer Sanjeev Pokharel.
After the voting that was held on Thursday, the ballot boxes reached the remote and inaccessible polling stations late, so it was agreed to count the votes from this evening.
There were 118 polling stations and one temporary polling station out of 77 polling stations here.
Out of 87,861 voters, 45,390 votes were cast. This is 51.66 percent of the total voter turnout. Bajura, which has only one constituency, has eight candidates, including seven political parties and one independent.
