CPN (Maoist) General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand has said that he voted for peace by voting from Rolpa. He said that he had to vote in the election after a long time.

Chand, who has been boycotting the election for a long time, voted in this time's House of Representatives member election from the 'K' center of Thunikot Secondary School in his hometown Parivartan-3 Kewari. He said that he voted in the election only after 18 years.

'I had voted in the first Constituent Assembly member election held in 2064. Before that, we participated in the armed conflict.' He said, 'After that, we started a separate movement. During this period, the election was also boycotted. Now, we have decided to vote again.' Although Chand's family migrated to Kapilvastu district in 2045, the voter list remained in his birthplace Iribang.

Chand said that he wanted to vote because it was a special time after the Gen-G rebellion of Bhadra 23 and 24. 'I voted in the election in such a situation.' He said that if the constitution was amended to allow direct election of the Prime Minister, there would be stable politics. But he argues that such a situation is not the case. Initially, there was talk of running as a candidate from Rolpa, but he backed out. The candidate from Ham Rolpa is party leader Chudamani Wali.

There are 86 polling stations and 180 polling stations in Rolpa. The total number of voters is 149,597, of which 74,907 are female voters and 74,690 are male voters.
