The candidacy of Kishori Sah, a candidate of the National Independent Party (RIP) from Dhanusha Constituency No. 1, who entered politics through a contract, has been rejected. The Election Commission has rejected Sah's candidacy two days before the election.

According to Election Commission spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai, her candidacy was rejected because she was blacklisted by the Credit Information Center. The candidate's personal details with the commission reveal that Kishori worked as a shareholder of Kamal Nirman Service.

Similarly, Kishori Lal Sah of Kishor Construction is mentioned on the Credit Information Center website as being blacklisted on 2080 Paush 6 and 2079 Asoj 11.

Dhanusha-1 Election Officer Manoj Baral said that the commission rejected the candidacy based on a complaint received against RIP candidate Sah with evidence of being blacklisted.

A complaint was filed with the office of Constituency No. 1 with evidence that RSVP candidate Sah's Kamal Construction was blacklisted, seeking cancellation of his candidacy. Baral said that the office has recommended the Election Commission to take action on the complaint.

Dhanusha Chief District Officer Prem Prasad Luitel said that even though the candidacy of RSVP candidate Sah was cancelled, the ballot papers would not be changed in Dhanusha-1. 'His candidacy has been cancelled because he was blacklisted. Since the election time is very short, it is not possible to change the ballot papers,' said Chief District Officer Luitel.

RSVP candidate Sah, whose candidacy was cancelled, had resigned from the Forest Office and started working as a contractor. RSVP candidate Sah, who had worked as a contractor for a long time in the import and export of forest products,  later entered the construction sector through Kamal Construction.

In the 2074 election, Sah was elected to the Provincial Assembly from Dhanusha Constituency No. 1 (1) from UML. In the 2079 election, Sah joined the Janmat Party and contested the election for the House of Representatives from Dhanusha-1. Sah, who finished fourth in the 2079 election, became a candidate from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
