Most political parties across the country are contesting elections alone. Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) are not in sync anywhere. However, in Manang, Congress, UML and RPP have the same candidate.

The only candidate from the three political parties is Tek Bahadur Gurung of Congress. UML and RPP have supported him. Polden Chhopang Gurung, who had earlier claimed to be a candidate from UML, is walking with Tek Bahadur and seeking votes. Not only that, UML's outgoing district president Kapli Gurung is also walking with him.

Interestingly, Polden Chhopang Gurung was elected as a member of the House of Representatives in the 2074 election, defeating the same Tek Bahadur Gurung. In 2079, Tek Bahadur Gurung was elected as a member of the House of Representatives, defeating the same Polden Chhopang Gurung.

Nepali Communist Party (NCP) candidate Yashoda Gurung (Subedi) is also in the election campaign. She is accompanied by leaders and activists, including NCP leader and her husband Dev Prasad Gurung. Ram Bahadur Ghale of Mongol National Organization is also in the election campaign.

Congress-UML had officially started a door-to-door program in Manang since Falgun 9. Earlier, the candidates who went to Kathmandu after registering their nominations had done door-to-door campaigning in Kathmandu. Tek Bahadur of Congress and Polden Chhopang, who were with them when they entered Manang from Kathmandu, also stayed together in Chame Rural Municipality and Manang Ngisyang Rural Municipality.

Most of the residents of Narpabhumi Rural Municipality in Manang have not returned to their villages. Therefore, the candidates and party leaders are near Koto near Chame, where the road to Narpabhumi separates. Even though they once went door-to-door in Kathmandu, the candidates who could not go to Narpabhumi are asking for votes from those who came to Narpabhumi.

Sources said that the Congress-UML has deployed its representatives in Narpabhumi rural municipality after the candidates did not go. According to the source, 137 people from Nar and 48 from Phu are scheduled to reach the polling station.

UML District President Polden Chhopang said that he entered Manang from Kathmandu with candidate Tek Bahadur and walked together in the election campaign. 'We walked together after we had a common candidate,' he said. Congress District President Shankar Gurung said that the Congress-UML walked together to win the common candidate. Sources said that NCP candidate Yashoda also has no plans to go to Narpabhumi.

NCP Manang coordinator Bed Bahadur Gurung said that the candidate's door-to-door campaign started from Naso Rural Municipality and reached Manang Ngisyang Rural Municipality via Chame Rural Municipality. 'We have met the voters of Narpabhumika once in Kathmandu. We meet the voters of Narpabhumika in Koto,' he said.

In the division between Congress and UML, the Congress got a candidate for the House of Representatives and the UML got a candidate for the Provincial Assembly through the lottery system. They agreed after sitting in the presence of religious gurus. Tek Bahadur Gurung retained his candidacy from the Congress for the House of Representatives. UML candidate Polden Chhopang Gurung withdrew his candidacy.
