Nepali Communist Party candidate for Jhapa-5 Ranjit Tamang has said that KP Oli should support him.

Tamang made the request at a press conference organized by the CPN Jhapa-5 Main Election Mobilization Committee on Saturday.

Tamang told Oli at the press conference, 'No matter who you support, you will not win the election. Therefore, you should support us to protect the left movement.' Oli suggested Oli to support the CPN and stand in favor of the left movement.

Tamang said, 'While the atmosphere of enthusiasm, energy and victory is increasing day by day in our favor, we express our strong objection to the factless and misleading propaganda spread in the name of the alliance by various forces with a defeatist mentality.'

Similarly, Tamang expressed objection to the violation of the election code of conduct by Oli and the Balen group. He said, 'We strongly condemn and condemn all kinds of anti-code of conduct activities carried out under the guise of power and power with the intention of influencing the election results by spreading budgets, plans and various temptations, and urge them to stop such activities immediately.'

Tamang said that no one should try to disrupt the election. He said, 'We strongly condemn the deadly attack on journalist Arjun Acharya, who had reached Kamal Gaun Palika under Jhapa-5 in the course of reporting, by cadres of the National Volunteers Force close to the UML, and demand strict action against the culprits.'

Surendra Basnet, election commander of NCP Jhapa-5, accused both Oli and Wallen of trying to provoke a clash by violating the code of conduct.
