Addressing an election rally in Butwal on Friday, President Thapa said that both countries should work together and a balanced foreign policy is necessary. ‘We are between India and China, loud talk alone will not do. We should work together with everyone,’ Thapa said, ‘We should strike a balance between our neighbors.’
President Thapa emphasized the need to understand geopolitical sensitivities. Thapa said that Congress is the party that can work together with everyone inside and outside the country.
He said that the party should be given a majority for five years in the elections to be held on 21 Falgun. He also promised that they would work without taking a break every day.
