Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has claimed that if the next five years are given to the Nepali Congress, it will be a golden era.

Addressing an election rally in Surkhet, Thapa said that it is time to work instead of criticizing each other. He claimed that they have come with the resolve to give the five years from 2082 to 2087 to the Congress and make it a golden era.

He accused those who had been living abroad as fake refugees when people were killed in the Maoist conflict of now boasting that they will change in five years. He claimed that he would not leave a single case in this five-year term and would bring everyone to justice. 'I will not leave even if it is a member of my own family. Now, if there is no change, give me a chance,' he said.
