Congress President Gagan Kumar Thapa has said that coalition politics has contaminated Nepal's politics. In a direct question-and-answer program regarding the party's manifesto, President Thapa expressed his commitment to move forward by correcting the shortcomings and weaknesses during the party's operation and the mistakes made while conducting political affairs.

‘We have come with the resolve that the changed Congress will change the country,’  he said,  ‘We will further sharpen our values .’

He has promised that the Congress will not enter into an alliance agreement with anyone from this time on, as the culture of alliances for power and authority has spoiled Nepali politics.

‘Not only in the elections, but also after the government is formed, we will not allow any division of power in various constitutional and political appointments.  This is the resolve of the changed Congress,’ said President Thapa.

He has assured that no one will be humiliated after the government is formed under the leadership of the Congress.
