UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has called the Bhadra 24 incident a ‘great destruction’ and said that it was a great crime. He said that it was not an unexpected incident and claimed that the incident was a planned attack on Nepal’s sovereignty and existence. Speaking at a manifesto public event organized in Kathmandu, Oli said this.
Chairman Oli also said that some elements involved in the incident had put on the mask of Naya Shakti to cover up the great crime committed against the nation. He said, ‘We should not delay in recognizing them.’
He said that UML is far from thoughtless and directionless stunts and said that their destination is a happy Nepal and a prosperous Nepal.
He said that after the destruction of Bhadra 23 and 24, a cloud of uncertainty had gathered and said that the entire system was attacked that day. He said, ‘At this time, the country is standing at a crossroads. On one side, there is anger, passion and resentment. On the other hand, there is conscience and responsibility.' He also said that attempts are being made to turn the country into a laboratory again in the conflict between those who destroy and those who build.
