Congress President Gagan Thapa has said that the coming period will be a decade of economic revival for economic reform. He also announced the goal of raising the per capita income of Nepalis to $2,500. Congress has also prepared to make people’s food cheaper. President Thapa said that the goal is to make Nepal an investment-worthy country in South Asia within the next 5 years. He said, ‘This is not something that can be done by just talking about it, for this, Nepal must make major changes in tax rates.’
