Congress President Gagan Thapa has put forward a plan to create 1.5 million jobs in 5 years. He said that the party has made a clear plan regarding which sectors and what kind of manpower will get jobs.
President Thapa said, "We have also included in the manifesto in detail how young friends can get loans without collateral and how to ensure their use." He said this at a manifesto public program organized in Kathmandu.
President Thapa said that everyone working in the construction sector and self-employed will be included under the plan. He also informed that people in all types of employment will be connected to the social security fund. He said that foreign employment is not a matter that can be immediately freed, but comprehensive reforms are needed in this sector. He said, "The guardian of every Nepali who goes for foreign employment is the state."
