Prime Minister Sushila Karki has said that the first condition for good governance and prosperity is control of corruption.

On the occasion of the 35th Foundation Day of the Authority, Karki also said that the Authority has become more committed to its responsibilities in recent times. Stating that corruption has not been controlled as expected, she said that reforms should be made from the existing mechanisms. 

Stating that the Gen-G movement was also carried out with the demand for good governance, she said that the government is now serious about good governance. She said that the government is ruthless against misuse of public resources. 

She said that the work and reforms done by the established mechanisms of the state in recent times are helping to move forward towards good governance. She also urged the Commission to fulfill its constitutional responsibilities.
