Nepali Congress Vice President Pushpa Bhusal Gautam has said that the party has put forward a policy to create self-employment for youth in the country in sectors including agriculture, tourism, information technology, small and medium industries.

She said that the policy of returning those employed abroad and connecting educated youth in the country with entrepreneurship and technology is a priority. 

Addressing the leading cadres in Pokhedanda on Tuesday during the election campaign of House of Representatives candidate Bishnu Prasad Khanal, former Deputy Speaker Bhusal said that the changed Congress will strengthen the country's economy, create various enterprises in the country and create jobs for hundreds of youth in villages and cities. 'Congress has led every movement,' she said, 'Now the leadership to change the situation of the country by institutionalizing the achievements has also come under the shoulders of Congress. We will fulfill that.' 

She also said that the main agenda now is economic development and good governance. She said that this time Congress is standing with the voters differently than in other elections and Congress candidates have entered the election fray in all constituencies. 'Congress is currently contesting the election without an alliance with any party,' she said, 'Even if we fight alone, we will win more than a hundred seats directly. After the elections, we will form a government under the leadership of President Gagan Thapa and change the situation in the country by reforming the economic sector, ensuring employment, and good governance.'
