Nepali Communist Party candidate Hari Roka has said that he is contesting the election for a socialist-oriented economic system.

In a program organized in Diktel on Thursday, in response to a question from the district-based Gen-G and youth, he said that Nepal has not been able to develop due to the lack of a socialist-oriented economic system. He said that a socialist-oriented economic system is necessary for the progress of Nepal and Nepalis as the geopolitical situation and the capitalist economic system have not been able to develop as desired.  'In Nepal, instead of producing farmers who produce agricultural produce, the development has not been possible due to the production of agricultural workers,' he said.

Roka claimed that he was qualified to make policy changes to create jobs for the youth in the country, create education policies that provide other employment, and expand easy access to health. "Nepal's education system was supposed to produce farmers who produce agricultural produce, but we only produced agricultural workers," he said. "Therefore, my candidacy is for this as policy changes are needed to create employment for the youth in the country and expand easy access to health for everyone."

Roka says that villages have been emptied due to migration in recent times and a policy should be formulated to provide education, health and employment to stop it.
