National Independent Party President Rabi Lamichhane has said that his own suffering is secondary to the suffering of the country. Lamichhane made the statement while visiting the constituency in Chitwan-2, where he is a candidate, on Thursday.
Lamichhane also said that he would not criticize the leaders of the old political parties. He said that despite suffering a lot, the people of Chitwan supported the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). 'Now, I can't talk about myself alone. My suffering is incomparable to the suffering of the entire country,' Lamichhane said. 'I have cried out in pain, if I say "Ayya" please listen to me, otherwise I will not talk about my suffering. I will talk about the collective suffering we have suffered. From today, I will talk about the suffering of the country.'
Lamichhane said that he was not in favor of criticizing the leaders of the opposition political parties. 'I am not in favor of criticizing any political party or a particular leader. I do not need to criticize those who have been ousted after the Nepali people have ousted them,' Lamichhane said.
Lamichhane said that Chitwan has planted the seeds of a blue revolution in Nepal. He says that the work of shaping the fate and future of the Nepali people through ballot papers began in Chitwan.
