The ballot papers for 60 constituencies have been printed for the direct phase of the House of Representatives elections. The Election Commission has stated that 7.26 million ballot papers have been printed for 60 constituencies so far.

The Commission's Assistant Spokesperson Kul Bahadur GC said that the 'packing' of ballot papers for 25 districts has also been completed.

The ballot papers for Karnali and Sudurpaschim (except for eleven districts) have been printed. A total of 23.23 million ballot papers will have to be printed for the direct route. After printing 24 million ballot papers for the proportional route, the printing of ballot papers for the direct route began at Janak Shiksha Samagi Kendra Limited on Magh 16.

The Commission is continuing the printing of ballot papers by giving high priority to districts in high Himalayan and remote areas. The Commission is preparing to send the ballot papers to each district from Magh 25 to Falgun 3. The Election Office has made arrangements to purchase 37 types of materials required for the election in the respective districts.

The Commission itself is going to purchase various types of election materials and send them to each district. The Commission's Assistant Spokesperson GC said that ballot papers and other election materials will be transported by truck to high-hilly and mountainous districts where roads have been reached, and by helicopter to high-mountainous districts.

The Commission has stated that the remaining election materials purchased in the 2079 elections have been sent to districts around Kathmandu and nearby. Materials including white cloth, swastika stamps, and other items were purchased in the previous elections and were left over.

The Commission has stated that around 1.3 million ballot papers are being printed per day. The Commission has stated that the transportation of ballot papers will begin the next day after printing is completed by 11 Falgun. The Commission is selecting a company for transportation through a tender process. There are preparations to send proportional and direct ballot papers simultaneously. The Nepal Army helicopters will transport ballot papers to the mountainous districts of Humla, Dolpa, Mugu, Manang, and Mustang.
