At a press conference in Kathmandu on Monday, it was decided to form a 501-member Central Election Mobilization Command under the command of Chairman Maharaj Gurung at the center and an election mobilization command in all constituencies to increase public opinion in favor of the UML.
Chairman Gurung said that it was decided to form an election mobilization command in all constituencies, keeping in mind the safety of the general voters. He said, "A 501-member Central Election Mobilization Command has been formed at the center under the leadership of the organization's Chairman Maharaj Gurung. The responsibility has been given to the office bearers and secretariat members to coordinate and lead the subordinate election mobilization commands at the provincial level. In addition, it has been decided to form an election mobilization command in all 165 House of Representatives constituencies."
He also said that the meeting has appointed a Bada Commander in all 6,743 wards and a Budh Commander in all 10,967 booths under the House of Representatives Election Mobilization Command.
The association has also stated that it will assign commanders to protect all booths.
