Prachanda urges Biplav to stop wandering around and join the NCP

NCP Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged Netra Bikram Chand to stop wandering around and return to the Nepali Communist Party.

Dahal made this statement while welcoming leaders from various levels, including Chiranjivi Dhakal, who left the Biplav-led CPN (Maoist), to the Nepali Communist Party.

He commented that Chand had disappeared into a deep political fog after the Gen-G movement, saying that he had missed a rare opportunity in history. He said, “We did not form the Nepali Communist Party on this impulse. You were getting great importance in the process of unity.”

Dahal said that he wanted to take the Socialist Front forward as the Nepali Communist Party, and said that even though he and Madhav Nepal gave great importance to Chand, he backed down without any reason. He clarified that he did not have any hatred or anger towards Chand even though he was not included in the unity and said that the CPN is the real home of the Chand group. He said, “There is no need to wander here and there. Nowadays, nothing is going to happen by wandering here and there.’

Dahal said that if the country is not united and does not go on a nationwide campaign before the election, the country could head towards another disaster. He said, ‘The election is ahead, but there is still confusion about what this election will deliver.’
