Senior leader of the National Independent Party (NISP) Balendra Shah reached Mudhe Bazaar in Dharmadevi Municipality-Sankhuwasabha on Saturday morning.

During his meeting with the locals and brief address, he said that Sankhuwasabha is a very beautiful and promising district. Addressing the general public present at Mudhe Bazaar, Leader Shah mentioned that Sankhuwasabha has the potential to become the best destination in Nepal in terms of natural beauty, cultural identity and biodiversity. 'Sankhuwasabha is truly beautiful, its importance is felt as soon as you step foot here,' he said, 'All people in the world should be able to step foot in such beautiful places.'

Prioritizing tourism development, he urged the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) candidate to win the upcoming elections. He said that tourism, employment and overall development of the district will be possible only through right leadership and honest politics. He also said that new thinking and leadership to do new things from the local level to the center are necessary.

Saying that he has heard a lot about Sankhuwasabha being a district famous for Rudraksha, Leader Shah responded that he was happy to come here in person. 'I had heard that this district has an international identity because of Rudraksha,' he said, 'I felt that pride even more when I came here today.'

Leader Shah's arrival at Mudhe Bazaar was welcomed with enthusiasm by the locals. Shah is a candidate from Jhapa Constituency No. 5 for the upcoming House of Representatives elections.
