Thirty candidates have been selected in two constituencies of Nuwakot for the upcoming election for the House of Representatives on Falgun 21.

With one candidate withdrawing his name during the withdrawal period today, 30 candidates have been selected for the election to be held on Falgun 21.

According to Nuwakot Chief Election Officer Komal Prasad Acharya, among those who registered their nominations, Progressive Democratic Party candidate Rajman Tamang withdrew his name in Constituency No. 2. With the withdrawal of one candidate's nomination, twelve candidates remain in Constituency No. 2. Similarly, all eighteen candidates who registered their nominations in Constituency No. 1 remain in the race.

In Constituency No. 1, Hit Bahadur Tamang from the Nepali Communist Party, Amit Tamang from the Ujjaya Nepal Party, Kumar Rana Magar from the Mongol National Organization, Dawa Fenchu ​​Lama from the Shram Sanskriti Party, Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat from the Nepali Congress, Badri Mainali from the CPN (UML), Bimal Thapa from the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, and Mahendra Tamang from the Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) are candidates.

According to him, out of the 30 candidates from Nuwakot, independent candidate Chepe Tamang from Constituency No. 1 is the only female candidate. Out of the 18 candidates nominated in Constituency No. 1, only six candidates from Panchakanya Rural Municipality are in the election competition.
