30 candidates filed nominations in two constituencies in Palpa

Thirty candidates, including political parties and independents, have nominated their candidacies in two constituencies of Palpa for the upcoming House of Representatives elections to be held on Falgun 21.

Election Officer Dasharath Pangeni said that 13 candidates, including 9 political parties and 4 independents, have filed their candidacies in Constituency No. 1 of the House of Representatives. Similarly, Assistant Election Officer Keshav Parajuli informed that 17 candidates, including 14 political parties and 3 independents, have filed their candidacies in Constituency No. 2 of the House of Representatives.

Sandeep Rana has registered his candidacy in Palpa Constituency No. 1 and Himal Dutta Shrestha has registered his candidacy in Constituency No. 2 of the Nepali Congress. Similarly, Narayan Prasad Acharya has registered his candidacy in Constituency No. 1 of the CPN-UML and Thakur Prasad Gaire has registered his candidacy in Constituency No. 2 of the CPN-UML.

Hum Bahadur Sunari has registered his candidacy in Constituency No. 1 of the Nepali Communist Party and Som Prasad Pandey has registered his candidacy in Constituency No. 2 of the National Independent Party. Madhav Bahadur Thapa has registered his candidacy in Constituency No. 1 of the Palpa Constituency No. 2 of the National Independent Party. In Palpa, Brihaspati Aryal from Constituency No. 1 and Dul Bahadur Kunwar from Constituency No. 2 have registered their nominations from RPP. 

Rastriya Janamorcha has registered its nominations from Constituency No. 1 and Bal Bahadur Darlami (Bishal) from Constituency No. 2.

Thaman Singh Reshmi Magar from National Republic Nepal, Salan Chidi Magar from Mongol National Organization, and Puran Gaihre Sharma from Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) have registered their nominations from Constituency No. 1. Koshal Aryal, Dilliraj Kafle, Buddha Bahadur Birkatta and Bachha Dali Miya have registered their nominations independently from Constituency No. 1. 

Top Bahadur Aslami has filed nominations for the National Janmukti Party from Constituency No. 2, Khik Bahadur Reshmi from the Janata Samajwadi Party (single election symbol), Dev Prasad Shrestha from the National Republic Nepal, and Man Bahadur Darlami from the Mongol National Organization.

Ram Bahadur Aslami from the Sovereign Citizen Party, Bishna Thadrai (Sarki) from the Nepal Communist Party (Maoist), and Bodh Raj Jaisi from the Progressive Democratic Party have filed nominations. Mohan Kunwar Thapa Magar, Keshav Prasad Basyal, and Devi Prasad Bhandari have filed nominations as independents from Constituency No. 2. Kunwar Thapa Magar is a former vice president of UML.
