In four constituencies here, 7 female candidates have filed nominations from political parties and 13 have filed nominations as independents.
Twenty women, both from political parties and independents, have registered their candidacies for the House of Representatives in Saptari. Seven female candidates from political parties and 13 independent candidates have registered their candidacies in the four constituencies here.
The National Independent Party (NIP) and the Civil Liberation Party Nepal have fielded female candidates from Constituency No. 1. The NIP has fielded Pushpa Kumari Chaudhary and the Civil Liberation Party has fielded Tika Lakshmi Narayan Chaudhary. Umdadevi Sada, Ram Kumari Khang and Rizwana Khatun have filed their candidacies there.
Neelam Kumari Yadav of the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party and Ranju Kumari Jha (Thakur) of the Nepal Janata Party have filed their candidacies from Constituency No. 2. Ambika Devi Safi, Bindu Kumari Chaudhary, Sadhan Das and Sushila Kumari Sah have filed their candidacies there. No political party has fielded female candidates in Constituency No. 3. Koshila Devi Paswan, Kaushal Kumari Chaudhary, Raziya Devi Sada and Sarita Kumari Yadav have filed their candidacies there as independents.
Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal, Nepali Communist Party (NCP) and Aam Janata Party have fielded women candidates from Constituency No. 4. Dr. Bambi Singh has filed his candidacy from JSP Nepal, Ruby Kumari Karna from NCP, and Anita Kumari Chaudhary from Aam Janata Party. Prem Kumari Mahara and Sanam Kumari Chaudhary have filed their candidacies there as independent candidates.
A total of 104 people have registered their candidacies here, including 233,096 men, 213,283 women and 23 others, totaling 446,420 voters.
