Eighteen people, including political parties and independents, have registered their nominations for the House of Representatives elections in Dhankuta.
Chief Electoral Officer Harishchandra Ingham informed that 18 people, including 14 political parties including CPN-UML, Nepali Congress, Nepali Communist Party, National Democracy Party, Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, National Independent Party, Mongol National Organization Party, Janata Samajwadi Party and Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, and 4 independents, have reached the office of the Chief Electoral Officer and registered their candidacies.
In Dhankuta, Rajendra Rai from CPN-UML, Dinesh Rai from Nepali Congress, Dharmaraj Poudel from Nepali Communist Party, Bibhatsu Thapa from Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Dinesh Bhandari from Rastriya Swatantra Party, Nishan Rai from Janata Samajwadi Party, Raviban Kumar Rai from Nepal Communist Party (Maoist), Aitaraj Limbu from Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, Shalikram Rai from Rastriya Parivartan Party, and Sagar Rai from Mongol National Organization have registered their candidacies.
Mankumar Yonjan, Jitendra Rai, Gangaram Gomden and Lakpa Tamang have filed their candidacies as independent candidates.
