Election Officer Shanti Neupane informed that 9 candidates have registered their candidacies independently and as part of a party.

According to her, Upendra Karki has registered his candidacy for the NCP (United), Sharmila Mali for the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, Maniram Phuyal for the UML, Kuntidevi Pokharel for the RPP, Balchandra Shrestha for the Progressive Democratic Party, Anand Simkhada for Jai Matrubhumi, and Nitesh Poudel for the NCP. Rupak Simkhada and Arjun Dhungana have also registered their candidacies on the independent side.

'Now, people are coming and registering. However, there are only 9 people who have registered,' Neupane said.
