Rajendra Ghimire has filed his candidacy from the Nepali Congress in Jhapa-3. Ghimire received a ticket for the House of Representatives elections on Tuesday itself.
Ghimire, who is a candidate in the National Assembly election, is a long-time leader of the Nepali Congress in Jhapa.
RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden has also registered his candidacy in Jhapa-3. In the 2074 election, Lingden defeated Krishna Prasad Sitaula, who is also a former general secretary of the Nepali Congress.
