Rajendra Mahato and Mahindra Rai Yadav are once again facing off from Sarlahi Constituency No. 2 in the upcoming House of Representatives elections. Both Mahato and Yadav are preparing to file their candidacies this afternoon.

Rashtriya Mukti Party Chairman Mahato and NCP leader Yadav are set to once again contest from the same constituency. Yadav had defeated Mahato both times in the previous two face-to-face elections.

Earlier, they had contested from the same constituency in the 2070 BS and 2079 BS elections for the second Constituent Assembly.

Both times, Yadav defeated Mahato by more than 2,000 votes. In the 2074 BS elections, however, these two leaders did not face each other after Mahato reached Dhanusha.
